K.C. Baxter joins the DMC Design team this spring as our newest Creative Officer. She
believes that a thoughtfully designed, well-appointed interior, has the power to transform
and enhance our daily lives. It can affect the way we think, work, create, relax, and
K.C. has a degree in Apparel Design and Textiles from Michigan State University and
an Interior Design degree from Kendall College of Art and Design. She worked at Three
Chairs Company in Holland, Michigan in sales and design.
While raising her family, she worked as a consultant on many residential projects along
the lakeshore. She also used her creative skills in designing jewelry, linens and
apparel. She was a member of the Grand Haven Area Arts Council.
Her personal style consists of soft color palettes, natural elements and layered textures.
Each project highlights bespoke details for the individual client. She is equally confident
in designing a luxe, deep hued, traditional space as well as a modern, minimal beach
K.C. lives in Spring Lake, Michigan with her husband, Jeff and dog, Charlotte. Together,
they have 5 children; three in college and two in high school. She loves gardening,
skiing, boating, hiking and spending time with friends.
